For the majority of targeted tracer fate association study (TTFAS) projects, SiDMAP uses:
Ion sources: Dual function; electron impact (EI); Chemical Ionization (CI)
Equipped with a 7683B series sample tray (N10149; G2913A) and injector to hold 100 samples with the automatic sample injection tower (S/N: CN54729244), which uses 10 microliter or 50 microliter syringes.
Equipped with a single turbo vacuum pump and a tandem rough oil pump to generate 10-7 torr vacuum (operates under self tuning passing criteria during machine tuning and operation with an automatic shutdown sequence in case of failure or malfunction)
Calibrated daily using PSTBA standard mass supplied by vendor (built-in self tuning function according to the built-in tune methods for Helium and Methane). Natural 13C standards are included in the beginning and at the end of each sequence, as well as after every 25 continuous sample runs.
Agilent 5975 MS and 6890N GC systems for 13CO2 and volatile gas isotopomer data acquisitions
Ion sources: electron impact (EI)
Equipped with a 6850 series sample tray (N10149; G2880A) and injector to hold 27 samples with the automatic sample injection tower (S/N: CN81921894), which uses 10 microliter or 50 microliter syringes.
Equipped with a single oil diffusion vacuum pump (heated) and a tandem rough oil pump to generate 10-7 torr vacuum (operates under self tuning passing criteria during machine tuning and operation with an automatic shutdown sequence in case of failure or malfunction)
Calibrated daily using PSTBA standard mass supplied by vendor (built-in self tuning function according to the built-in tune methods for Helium). Solvent runs are included in the beginning and at the end of each sequence, as well as after every 25 continuous sample runs. Natural 13C standards are included in the beginning and at the end of each sequence, as well as after every 25 continuous sample runs.
For the majority of Powered by SiDMAP (PbS) projects, SiDMAP services include protocol transfers, manuals, two weeks laboratory training, continued by a one-time 20 working days technical support for mass spectrometer operations and data collection.
For the majority of Precursor-product isotope matching studies (PRISOMATCH) projects, SiDMAP uses:
The Applied BiosyStems Voyager-DE STR.
The Voyager is a high performance matrix-assisted laser desorption time-of-flight mass spectrometer (MALDI-TOFMS) with a mass range of 500-300,000 Da. It is equipped with a nitrogen laser (337nm, 3 ns pulse, 20 Hz maximum firing rate.). It can operate in the linear and reflectron modes. The linear detector allows for better sensitivity of high mass molecules, while the reflectron detector provides high resolution, permitting isotopic separations up to 5,000 Daltons. Mass measurement accuracy is typically 0.05-0.1% in the linear mode and 0.005-0.01% in the reflection mode. The Voyager is equipped with a collision gas cell and a timed-ion-selector for performing MS/MS employing the collision-induced dissociation/post-source-decay method (CID/PSD) for sequencing peptides and oligonucleotides.
The ThermoQuest LCQdeca,
is a high pressure liquid chromatography/mass spectrometer (LC/MS) unit with the capability of a tandem mass spectrometer. The LCQ is used for small peptide quantitation sequence analysis and provides analytical support for investigators interested in clinical proteomics.
The AB SCIEX QTRAP® 5500 LC/MS/MS system
The AB SCIEX QTRAP® 5500 LC/MS/MS system is the next-generation technology which is designed to excel at metabolite identification, detection and confirmation of low-level pesticides, and protein/peptide quantitation for biomarker verification and validation. Redesigned from the ground up using our new, fast eQTM electronics, but bred from our industry standard triple quadrupole line of mass spectrometers, the QTRAP® 5500 system brings in a new era of performance.
The QTRAP® 5500 system also houses the most sensitive ion trap in the world-the all new, patented Linear AcceleratorTM trap along with offering ultra-fast scan speeds, and full MS3 capabilities.
The AB SCIEX QTRAP® 5500 LC/MS/MS system
The API 5000TM LC/MS/MS System is today’s most sensitive triple quadrupole mass spectrometer for small molecule analysis.
Highest sensitivity triple quadrupole mass spectrometer for small molecule analysis.
Lowest limits of detection available for DMPK and ADMET studies.
Robust, high-throughput platform for all stages of pharmaceutical development.
Unequalled accuracy and precision for quantitative analysis.
